*Techniques used*: stranded knitting in the round, two-sided provisional cast on, slipped stitches. All used techniques are well explained in the pattern with pictures and links to tutorials.

THE AMSTERDAM BAG is inspired by environmental friendliness. With Dutch yarn I designed a bag that uses two of the most common Dutch symbols: tulips and windmills.

The bag is knitted in the round with three strings of yarn held together for one color. Once the bag itself is knit you use stitches from the side panels to create the band. This band is also knit in the round but with only two strings of yarn held together.
